Simply order the treasure hunt on this website (included in every box set), then solve the 15 riddles that will reveal the location of a chest buried somewhere in the Caribbean.

The first person to dig up the chest will be declared the winner and will claim the Gold & Crystal treasure: a chest filled with gold coins and a crystal skull set with a gemstone, for a total estimated value of $500,000.

It is an official licensing partnership between Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and Unsolved Hunts.

Beyond this licensing agreement, the teams behind Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced were closely involved at every stage of the hunt’s creation, to ensure respect for the game’s lore and universe (although playing the video game is not required to take part in the hunt).

This close collaboration now makes the project a true co-creation between the two teams.

We anticipated this issue with our partner Aucoffre, which is responsible for creating the exclusive gold coins.

The weight and purity of the coins will be adjusted according to when the treasure is discovered. Therefore, when the chest is found, the gold coins will represent a total value of €300,000 ($350,000).

The remaining €125,000 ($150,000) is covered by the material and artistic value of the crystal skull.

It is not a race against time, but a long-term adventure. You will need to solve the hunt’s 15 riddles: some are accessible, then as you progress, the challenges become increasingly demanding.

To make it to the end, you will need both insight and perseverance.

On the digital interface, a toolbox will be available to guide you toward useful resources (such as MyMaps or Dcode).

Finally, the prologue included with pre-orders is there to immerse you in the experience and guide your first steps before you take on the main quest.

Yes. The riddles do not always require advanced cryptography skills: they mainly rely on your historical knowledge, logic, common sense, and intuition.

In fact, during our last hunt, the chest was discovered by someone taking part in their very first treasure hunt!

Absolutely. No proof of purchase is required to claim the treasure.

When you place your order, you will receive unique access credentials for the digital interface. If you gift the hunt, simply pass these credentials on to the recipient: they will then be able to create their account and take part in the hunt.

Yes, and it is even highly recommended to maximize your chances.

Since the treasure is awarded to a single person, if you play as a team, you will simply need to designate in advance the member who will officially receive the prize.

After that, it is up to you to decide: keep it, share it among yourselves, or even sell it at auction and split the value.

Once correctly solved, the 15 Gold & Crystal riddles will lead you to an extremely precise location in the Caribbean, where a chest has been buried.

This is the chest you will need to find first in order to win the hunt... and the treasure.

Only the author (or authors) of the riddles know the solutions. The official solutions are held by a bailiff.

This hunt is expected to last between 2 and 5 years.
